On 19th and 20th April, 2016, Beijing Aier Intech Eye Hospital provided an eye screening for students of Canadian International School Beijing. Our doctor checked every student’s and every staff’s eyes carefully and gave effective suggestions for each of them.
During this eye screening, our doctor detected many problems that some students and staff even were unaware. For example, many students have myopia (nearsightedness) but don’t wear glasses, which can decrease visual acuity quickly or cause some other eye problems.
And for the staff, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy develop slowly and sometimes without noticeable sight loss for many years. By the time a patient is aware of vision loss, the disease is usually quite advanced.
As it was just a basic eye check, they were recommended to visit a professional eye hospital for further exam. We hope that everyone gets the idea of annual eye test. It helps to detect early stage of eye issue. Our clinic is willing to protect the health of your eyes!
